As of June 2025, Course Search and Course Chatter has been largely removed from courses and transferred to WGU Connect, If you do not see cohorts in the announcements, please check the WGU connect. If you do not know how to get there or how to go through and find resources, please check out my WGU orientation guide that is for both new and current students.
So You Want to be a WGU Student
The Course should just be called Jim Jividen’s Class. In the total time I was in this class, he was the only instructor sent and replied to emails. He is on all of the videos, and he is highly responsive in course chatter. Pay attention to every video and only read the textbook chapters he recommends. As of 4/5/24, my study guide involves all of the readings and no additional material is necessary so if you want to skip it that is up to you. It may appear like a really easy course, but it is important to do all of the tips on this checklist. Jim Jividen doesn’t have any extraneous activity to his course except when being anecdotal. The OA has scenarios and applications but not as heavy as D322 Intro to IT
